As you are probably aware, if there is an emergency at Twin Creeks, we are on our own until emergency services can get to us. So we need to be prepared to handle our own needs. The park does have an emergency response plan, and in 2024, Harvey and I would like to introduce interested volunteers to our emergency protocol in the event that something happens, and we are not on site.
If you are interested in learning what to do in the event of fire or power outs, please email me. I will coordinate a time (a Saturday in June is the plan) where the majority of people can gather for an hour or two to learn how to respond to an emergency.
