The electric fence outside the pumphouse seems to have been an effective deterrent. So we have put up a second electric fence. It is located below the 300 level. The fence surrounds our septic tanks where the bears have continued to damage the equipment.
Please ensure that you keep your dogs/pets away from the fence. The fence is low voltage, set to cause pain not death.
